Kinivo BTH220 Bluetooth Headset doesn't work?

I'm finding myself unable to get the headset to work. I've installed bluez. First, I start up the bluetooth on my headset and type:

$ hcitool scan

and my headphones show up as "00:1A:7D:12:23:4A". Then, I type:

$ bluez-simple-agent hci0 00:1A:7D:12:23:4A

and it just hangs there. Even after my headphones time out, it continues to hang. I have to quit it with ^C.

This may not be important, but I'm using a USB bluetooth adapter. Thanks.
