XOrg problem

Since the recent merge from testing to current, XOrg no longer behaves correctly. It doesn't allow resolutions above 1280x1024 anymore. Not sure why either. Anyone else having XOrg issues since the merge?

I did. I use the ati-drivers in community. I've also tried using the radeon driver as well. Same thing.

What does /var/log/Xorg.0.log say about modes higher than 1280x1024?

Not much. Interestingly enough, I removed XOrg and reinstalled and it worked fine. I rebooted to test and it reverted back to not working.

Re: XOrg problem

Seems to be an issue with the 8.16.20 ati-drivers. I can't roll back to the working 8.14.13 since they won't compile with GCC4. So I will have to use the radeon driver until then (which I got to work).
