installing systemd-git causes kernel panic

Hello, hopefully this is the right forum to ask this question...

I am trying to install systemd-git from the AUR like I have done before without issue but when I try and do this today, I get a problem: the kernel panics. It says:

(1/1) upgrading systemd-git
Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init! exitcode=0x00007f00
Pid: 1, comm: systemd Not tainted 3.6.11-1-ARCH #1

I've built the same package on i686 and on x86_64 and only the latter gave me the problem. I have successfully installed on i686 without issue.

(install command is `pacman -U systemd-git-20130115-1.x86_65.pkg.tar.xz`)

Just posting in case anyone knows why this might be. Meanwhile, the investigation continues...
