Lenovo ThinkCentre A58, Realtek ALC662 5.1 issue - early patching prob

Hello @ all,

I have a problem.

I'm using a Lenovo Thinkcentre A58 with an integrated Realtek ALC 662 soundcard.

This card has "only" 3 jacks at the rear side (line in, speaker out, mic in), 2 at the front (headphones out, mic in) and an integrated speaker. My problem is, that rear side's jacks ar both in- and output. Windows' driver recognizes weather these ports are used for in- or for output and configures them automatically. ALSA doesn't. Always I have to run a script as root to change those jacks.

Now after reading hda readme I found out there's a way to patch the module yourself. But it does not work.

I need help. But I don't know which concrete information helpers need.

May be anyone can help me through to get this problem solved.

Thanks a lot,
yours
