Google Search Script/Program?

Are there any scripts or programs that search multiple sites on google for a search query and return either a combined result or open multiple tabs for each result? For instance, I'd like to search for systemd on site:bbs.archlinux.org, site:ubuntuforums.org, site:forums.gentoo.org, etc. Another thing I seek is a list of good forums/sites/blogs to search. I know the aforementioned forums, but there are plenty more that I don't know of. It would be nice to have a precompiled list of these sites for various topics (i.e. programming, math, etc).

Anything like that exist?

Also, are there any programs that generally improve google search? (I'm aware of startpage and ixquick)

You might like duckduckgo's bang syntax.
