[SOLVED] Colored pixels on Youtube videos

After recent update (do not know the exact package or version) the Youtube videos started having colored pixels running all over.
Flash animations look alright in other service.

Used packages:

- flashplugin 11.2.202.261-1 [installed]
- google-chrome 24.0.1312.52-1 [installed]

Anyone else having same problems or an idea what is the rootcause?

I had this problem a few months ago. I don't remember what I did to fix that.

If it works fine with firefox you can try disabling chrome's built in flash and tell it to use the flashplugin. I don't think chrome uses flashplugin by default.

(it's a workaroud of course but that's all I remember from then)

Thanks for the tip! Disabling/enabling Flash plugin as follows did resolve the issue:

[Disabled]
Version:    11.5.31.137
Location:    /opt/google/chrome/PepperFlash/libpepflashplayer.so

[Enabled]
Version:    11.2 r202
Location:    /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so
