[SOLVED]Cinnamon is crashing

I'm using arch 64 bit with gnome 3 and cinnamon. When I try to login into cinnamon desktop from gdm, it crashes and  it shows "Oh no !! something has gone wrong ..." and gives an option to log off. When I do that , gdm restarts. (I have gnome 3.6 and I can login into it without any problems)

How can I get some diagnostic information here and fix this issue?

I tried this and the virtual console itself crashed (back to login:) without any output before crashing.
I tried replacing the current desktop gnome with cinnamon using

$ cinnamon --replace

and it gave a segfault

** (cinnamon:6049): WARNING **: Can't load fallback CSS resource: Failed
to import: The resource at '/org/gnome/adwaita/gtk-fallback.css' does
not exist
      JS LOG: About to start Cinnamon
[1] 6049 segmentation fault (core dumped) cinnamon --replace

Re: [SOLVED]Cinnamon is crashing

I solved it by removing all config files from my home folder except essential  files like .Xauthority , .IceAuthority etc.
