[SOLVED] jack2-dbus running but no audio.

Hi,

I have installed jack2-dbus 1.9.9.5-1 which starts and clients connect, but there is no sound. jack and jack2 work fine, no issues. When I run "jack_control start" there are no errors. A few things I've tried, just for sanity:

$ jack_control start
--- start

$ jack_control status
--- status
started

$ jack_control dg
--- get selected driver
alsa

I can run "qjackctl" and can see clients (such as LMMS) connected and routed to "system". Everything looks fine, but there is no sound from any client. jack2 works as expected, so I'm wondering if I've missed something fundamental here or is jack2-dbus horribly broken? Same issue on 32-bit and 64-bit Arch.

Any help would be much appreciated. This doesn't do a lot for your creativity does it?

Thanks!

Re: [SOLVED] jack2-dbus running but no audio.

I removed ~/.config/jack/conf.xml and restarted the system. By default, "jack_control dg" (driver get) told me my audio driver was "dummy" so I had to run "jack_control ds alsa" (driver set). Everything now works.
