Arch linux on Acer Iconia W700-6691

Hi,

Anyone has an idea whether I can use Arch on this tablet. It comes with Core i5-3317U and intel HD graphics 4000. I don't know about if its got a secure boot UEFI or not.

Please I need to know because I am planning on getting one soon.

Here is a youtube video of the W500 running Arch: http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q= … 7550,d.aWM

And here is a Ubuntu thread dedicated to running linux on Acer Iconia: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1726637

I would check the hardware differences between the two.  If it isn't significant, then I suspect you could do the same with the W700.

I laugh, yet the joke is on me

Thank you,

I was checking more and I found that it supports legacy boot. I hope I will be able to dual boot with Windows 8 with no hassle.
