Missing top half of cursor

Hi all, i am missing the top half of my cursor when using the Nouveau drivers. I know that switching to the nvidia drivers will fix this but i am using a macbook air and the nvidia drivers do not work.

Anyone know how this can be fixed?

I have this issue. I am using i3. It started showing since last 2 days. The cursor is fine on the external monitor, but on the primary display, it disappears and when I click or move the mouse it appears but only the top half is seen.
I have a macbook pro and I boot into arch.

hb6381, please feel free to start a new thread for your issue and put a link to this one.  We discourage "necrobumping" old threads - and in this case the OP hasn't even logged into the forums in over two years.  So they will not likely be back to follow up on this.
