I've been dual booting Windows 7 and Arch for a long time without issue. They're installed on separate HDDs and I use Grub to chainload Windows.
I just attempted to boot into windows and got "BOOTMGR is missing" after selecting Windows in Grub. I tried rebooting into Arch and got a huge flood of errors and got dumped at a recovery prompt. I rebooted again, and this time Arch started just fine, but after further rebooting Windows still has the "BOOTMGR is missing" error.
How can I figure out what went wrong? And is there any way to fix it without reinstalling the Windows boot manager (which I heard removes Grub)?
I can still mount the Windows drive in Arch, so I don't think it's hard drive failure.

*sigh*... unplugged all of my hard drives and plugged them back in again. Now it works.
