Well thats what greets me after running pacman -Syu... I should have run my bootmanager (lilo) before rebooting since there was a kernel installation. How would I go about doing this now?
Boot with 0.7 cd, mount partitions, chroot /mnt, and run lilo ?
Just need some clarification, and at what point of booting off the cd do I do this? (I've never had to use my Arch cd for recovery)
Thanks In Advance...

Wiki has an article about it. Search for "boot" (remember we're using udev now not devfs and you should also use /dev/hda... not /dev/discs/...)

Hmm, I found the article, but its for devfs...
I know you said change to /dev/sda etc, but the cd is loading devfs when it boots, and then it wont recognise udev naming scheme...
Maybe get hold of a boot disc that uses udev?
I'm running out of ideas here...

If you follow
http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/I_f … 7t_boot%21
you will have to use devfs names until you can get lilo running ...
just check lilo.conf is ok before running lilo
If you have devfs=nomount in lilo remove it
If thats all too much then get a live cd Archie or Knoppix & use that
