Odd graphics quirks in Minecraft

I'm  having quite the issues out of my current chipset and Minecraft in particular.  Basically after a very short while of playing the texture buffer gets.... confused.  It somehow jumbles up the textures on some of my mobs and occasionally my chests.  My relevant system specs are as follows.

Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3330 CPU @ 3.00GHz
8GB DDR3 RAM 1600Mhz
Xeon E3-1200 v2/3rd Gen Core processor Graphics Controller [8086:152] (Intel HD, i915 driver)

I'm honestly a little baffled, tried setting a few direct driver settings with little success.  Any help is appreciated.

Re: Odd graphics quirks in Minecraft

Are you using a texture pack? If so, did you remember to patch the jar?

On a related note, are there other graphical problems, or just this one? Because honestly, I'd be psyched to find a bunch of cows with naturally multi-colored legs. Sounds super-rare. tongue

All the best,

-HG

Re: Odd graphics quirks in Minecraft

Your cows are cold, those things on their legs are socks.  It keeps them warm during the cold winters and such.

On a more serious note, do you have any mods installed or something like that?  Have you tried a fresh reinstall/redownload of the minecraft.jar to see if it fixes it?  It seems too precise to be a video card bug.
