[SOLVED] New "HOOKS" configuration

Hi,
I'm on a fully upgraded Arch_64 on a PC with 2 STAT drives and USB keyboard and mouse.
Although I fully switched to systemd, recently, while performing kernel upgrades, I get an error message like the one below. I've followed this link , https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=154694, yet my /etc/mkinitcpio.conf.pacnew looks OK (details below). I've copied the HOOKS line from /etc/mkinitcpio.conf.pacnew to /etc/mkinitcpio.conf (details below).

My questions:
1.Is this OK?
2. Do I need to add some more hooks (e,g., usbinput which was in the original file only) to the /etc/mkinitcpio.conf HOOK line (the first, commented line is the original one, the second one is the one I've copied from /etc/mkinitcpio.conf.pacnew).

Thanks

[DELETED] -- didn't answer the poster's question, I read too fast. Sorry.

(Was: Did you recreate the initramfs? ("mkinitcpio -p linux" as root, see the wiki for further reading.)

Thanks a lot !
Indeed running "mkinitcpio -p linux" solved it!

Re: [SOLVED] New "HOOKS" configuration

Please don't continue to do this: the combined output of the warning message and
reading the wiki mkinitcpio page would be more than sufficient to answer this
question; of course, that would have required you to do the work rather
than expecting the community to do it for you.

This is classic help vampirism.

Solved what? How did that answer your question? Your new hooks line is not functionally equivalent to the old one, if that was the question. But you should know that since you configured that line in the first place...
