Issues with pulseaudio using Schiit Modi USB DAC

I use a USB DAC (Schiit Modi) as my primary output device using either clementine or spotify as the source program. It will play fine for about 15 minutes and then just stop. The output of pulseaudio -vv is shown below, I do not know how to interpret it. It just stays at "Processing Rewind...". If I restart pulse it works fine for another 15 minutes. Any help would be nice.

Does it work without pulseaudio?

Without pulseaudio I can't even use the DAC. If I try using alsamixer to enable it, it doesn't let me do anything with it. It recognizes it, but I can't do anything.
