amaroK + gstreamer do not crossfade

Hello,

I'm using amaroK with the gstreamer engine, but I cannot get crossfading to work. It is grayed out in the settings dialog. The only thing that I can set is the fading out, but that only occurrs when I hit stop.

According to this page: http://amarok.kde.org/amarokwiki/index. … Comparison gstreamer supports crossfading.

I do not wish to use arts(buggy, not maintained) or xine(kio-slaves are VERY important to me).

Could anyone help me with this one?

I know this is a very old post, but I have the same problem now and I can't seem to find the answer, is there an instruction on how to solve this problem?
