weston/wayland wont launch

[13:23:54.477] couldn't open /dev/dri/card0, skipping
[13:23:54.477] failed to initialize egl
[13:23:54.482] fatal: failed to create compositor

Anyone else get this issue? I had it running a few days ago.
Could it be the mesa? Or wayland/weston not being compiled for our latest mesa?

Re: weston/wayland wont launch

Hello,

I also have this error. But I use VirtualBox for testing. It is possible that's related?

Thanks

Re: weston/wayland wont launch

I'm new to Arch Linux, and trying to get Wayland/Weston working too.  I also fail to initialize EGL as the error indicates above.  I've tried as user and root, and both are added to the video group.

I've also built Mesa 9.1.6 with configure options, instead of using the Mesa package, to enable egl_gallium, and pointed to the library  /usr/lib64/egl_gallium.so.

I can't seem to get debug working, any ideas on that?  I've set EGL_LOG_LEVEL=debug as an environment variable.

FYI - I'm running Arch Linux as a virtualbox guest on a Suse host.

Any help will be  greatly appreciated.
