systemctl: command not found

Just installed arch on a VPS server, and noticed that I get:
systemctl
bash: systemctl: command not found

Where do I find this command? Pacman cant find it..

What installer did you use?
That's in the systemd package, which will be needed to boot. It goes into /usr/bin/systemctl

I never used an installer, the hosting company set the dist up for me..

main reason I ask is I need iptables to be running. Is there any way to get iptables to load with startup without the systemctl ?

~~You~~They either used a (very) old installation media/iso, or you didn't actually install arch but rather one of it's derivative distros.

hmm, I see. The media is from 08-12 I think it was, so it is not that old..

I don't want to sound rude here but arch is a distro where the user has some experience in linux and roughly knows how the system works. If someone else set the system up for you then I doubt you'll have much fun with it. If you have a look at the front page of archlinux.org you'll notice that there have been some fundamental changes since 08-12, like systemd now beeing the default. Better grab the latest 2013.03.01 iso and put the system up yourself. Because that's the arch way anyways.
