(Resolved) KDE + Youtube = no sound?

I can't figure out what the problem is, sound works in other programs such as Amarok and Dragon Player for videos, but apparently no videos on Youtube will play sound...? Help please...Everything is unmuted in alsamixer and kmixer has the right channel set as the Master channel.

Edit: I installed pulseaudio, the kde related stuff for pulseaudio, rebooted and now everything works. I am unclear on why, my guess would be that kde and gstreamer have better support for pulseaudio paired with alsa, instead of just a plain vanilla setup with alsa by itself.
