Hi All,
I've got quite strange behavior of Nvidia Q1000M video card:
1) I plug in external monitor (DisplayPort / DVI / VGA)
2) Monitor starts fine, showing some picture
3) After several minutes the picture freezes. X is fine, apps are running, laptop screen is fine.
4) If I unplug the cord or disable monitor in settings, all windows from frozen external monitor move to laptop one.
External monitor can run fine for several minutes, or might freeze after 1 minute or so.
Please, can you help in troubleshooting this?
Googling or skimming through Xorg.0.log did not help
System details:
Laptop: Lenovo ThinkPad W520 (Descrete graphics enabled)
Video card: Nvidia Q1000M
Drivers: proprietary, version 313.26-2
Xorg-server version: 1.14.0-2
Thank you all in advance for your time and assistance.
Best Regards,
Dmitry

ewaller,
Sure, will do next time (and hopefully, will not need it). Sorry for the inconvenience, and thanks for effort.
