Keyboard-mouse locked after resume from suspend

After the last couple of system updates my system no longer resumes properly from suspend. The video is fine but the keyboard-mouse combo is locked up.
The kb-mouse combo is a logitech wireless:

Bus 001 Device 002: ID 046d:c517 Logitech, Inc. LX710 Cordless Desktop Laser

I can see no relevant log details in systemctl that lead me anywhere. Any ideas appreciated.
