Render Problem in Flowblade (ffmpeg flag)

Hi,

I'm attempting to use flowblade (from the AUR)  to render an edited video, but partway through the rendering process, the file size drops down to a few megabytes and starts increasing again, resulting in an incomplete file. The format of the file I'm trying to render is H.264 mp4 (720p30). I ran flowblade from a terminal and got the following error message upon starting the render process:

[NULL @ 0x7f15b4002300] [Eval @ 0x7f15c33fc4f0] Undefined constant or missing '(' in 'dct8x8'
[NULL @ 0x7f15b4002300] Unable to parse option value "dct8x8"

I've been searching around for information regarding the "dct8x8" flag, but have come up empty. I even tried editing the "renderencoding.xml" file to remove the flag and rebuilding/reinstalling the package, but I still get the error message. I'm at a loss for what to try next since my Google searches have brought a lot of links regarding use of the option, but none regarding the error I'm getting.

Any help is much appreciated. System specs below, if needed.

AMD Athlon X2 3600+
2GB DDR2
3.8.4-1-ARCH x86_64

Re: Render Problem in Flowblade (ffmpeg flag)

The presets are using outdated ffmpeg syntax and options. Which preset(s) in flowblade are you attempting to use?

Re: Render Problem in Flowblade (ffmpeg flag)

Sorry for taking so long to reply, I got a new PC on the 8th and have been pretty busy since then.

I was using the H.264 mp4 preset, trying to render out to a 720p file at 30 FPS.
