Different X Servers with different drivers? (fglxr and radeon)

I was wondering if there ware some way to run two different  X servers but each one with a different driver.

I was wondering because using catalyst drivers aren't working I was expecting and I would like to compare the performance with the open source drivers.

I thought that chrooting could work, but I've been trying without any success, even with the ati driver trying to open a new display (or one with xnest on the "host").

Another alternative, but a bit annoying would be to have two arch linuxes and switch between them in grub.

Any clue if this is possible or can help me to find a simple approach?
