Powersaving / Radeon / KMS

Hi,
I want to enable dynamic frequency switching for my GPU following [1]. Changing the power_method or _profile manually works fine, but creating the corresponding udev-rule so as to enable it on boot doesn't seem to work, The value for power_method is still set to 'profile'.

Any ideas?
