Canon Pixma MP230 scanner and printer driver x86_64
The solution for printing...
The Gutenprint Pixma MP240 driver works perfectly, I couldn't get the Canon driver to work. The is no Arch package, only a .deb and .rpm where at best the filter crashed.
The scanner
The latest Sane driver available from Arch doesn't support the scanner
I had to use "git" to download the latest sane-backend source which has a patch. Then configure, make, make install, and all works fine...

Anyone who reads this: There is now a package in AUR:

The drivers work perfectly, even with the MP230.

gutenprint 5.2.10-1 works now perfect with this printer!
