Missing Nautilus toolbar in File Browser

Hi,

I'm not sure what happened -- if something was installed or modified, but my toolbar is missing every time I launch file browser.  I've tried everything I know of to fix it.  I've re-installed nautilus, renamed .nautilus folder (which now has nothing in it), played around with settings in gconf and gconftool-2.  No such luck.

I did notice that there isn't a connection to the session manager when running applications such as gnome-system-tool, etc.

I also noticed this error when nautilus apps were starting up
Gtk-Message: Failed to load module "globalmenu-gnome": libglobalmenu-gnome.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I'm not even sure if this controls nautilus menu/toolbar.

Any suggestions as to what I could look at?

Thank you.

Re: Missing Nautilus toolbar in File Browser

Another report of the missing toolbar. This is on Gnome 3.10 and when running it from the terminal there are no errors. The only way I have to close nautilus window is in the overview mode.
