FWIW, I would focus on the functionality in Arch that is not as easily available in other distros, eg pacman, AUR etc.  Concentrate on the fact that distro-whores (not my phrase!) generally end up monogamous with only minor dalliances, after meeting Arch.  And they like the distro too...

I'm assumming that it will be available in the Jan (avail in Dec) issue of Linux Magazine, but could get pushed out to Feb's (avail in Jan - don't you love magaine months).

I would mention how simple and clear it is to control Arch linux with the script files, mostly rc.conf. That was a big attraction for me.
