Chrome giving choppy/jittering sound

Hi Friends, the latest version of chrome that is Version 26.0.1410.63 is giving me choppy/jittering sound on sites like youtube and ex.fm . When i disable pepper based flash player (using chrome://plugins/) and enable the adobe one , youtube works fine but ex.fm still gives choppy sound.I also tried copying ffmpegsumo.so (the lib which is responsible for mp3 streaming) from an earlier working installation to the current installation but to no avail. It still gives me choppy sound. Anyone experiencing such problems? Is there any solution to this problem? My earlier installation of chrome worked fine on both the sites youtube and ex.fm. please help.

Re: Chrome giving choppy/jittering sound

Probably the same as here: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=161491

I am having the same issue.
"choppy" sound in youtube with chrome. Both flash and html5, both built-in flash and system flashplugin.
I tried the LD_PRELOAD trick with modified memcpy, it didn't help.
Disabling html5 and installing flashplugin-square from AUR does help.
