[SOLVED] Setup wlan for installation

hi

A friend of mine is trying to install arch on his macbook pro. He got the live cd to boot and is inside the initial invironment but he has not network conneciton.
A wired Lan connection is not available.

His card is a broadcom bs4322 and we already loaded the kernel module b43. The device however is still not present.

How should we proceed?

Re: [SOLVED] Setup wlan for installation

You have to check the exact pci-id of  the card in order to ascertain which driver is best for it:

For b43 check important info here too: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 5#p1260265
