[SLOVED]gtk3 3.8 upgrade messes up menus of appllications

since the gtk3-3.8.1-1 upgrade, some of the menus are messed up:
gtk3-3.8.1-1

these menus should look like this:
(I downgraded to  gtk3 3.6.4-2)
gtk3 3.6.4-2

I'm on xfce 4.10
anyone facing the same issue?
knowing how to fix it?

this is probably the same old gnome issue of gtk3 themes breaking on every major update.

you probably need to use a theme that supports 3.8 or modify your current theme to support it properly. (hint: launch a gtk3 app from the commandline - it may show where your theme is broken).
