Nouveau detects external Monitor -no video signal

Hello,

I am running x_64 Arch with nouveau. I recently tried to connect an external monitor, which worked about 7 months ago. The screen is recognized alright, but I get no output on the screen (No video signal). Trying fn key combinations doesn't work, neither did manual xrandr do anything.

Note that this is working on the LTS Kernel (3.0), but not on stock (3.8) and git (3.9.rc7), so there is no issue with the cable or the screen.
What can I do to make this work?

I have the same problem. Xrandr detect the HDMI connection but the monitor has no signal.
