Custom kernel problem.

Hello. I've compilled custom kernel by myself, with some modules built in, so I don't have to use initramfs. My problem is, that sometimes I just can't boot my system. When I select it in GRUB, it stays on black screen and I have to turn off my laptop. I can get it working sometimes on second boot, but sometimes I need 4-5. Does anyone know what to do with it? Thanks.
