bug in xfce4's volume manager - wont unmute

If you drag the volume all the way down from the audio icon in the panel or in the xfce4 mixer, it will mute 'headphone' and 'speaker' and then when you drag master back up, 'headphone' and 'speaker' remain muted and you wont have audio untill you manually unmute 'headphone' and 'speaker', anyone else seeing this?

I'm still getting this issue now, bug report says 'waiting for response', is that waiting for upstream?
