No sound on x201

Hi all,

I got a Lenovo x201 which works in general with Arch + Cinnamon.

Only the sound (Intel) is not working. I have checked all channels and none is muted.

I have also tried several module Parameters, as described on the related wiki page.

Does it perhaps result in the usage of Pulseaudio with the latest GNOME libs?

I don't know if it helps, I don't use pulseaudio. However I've been experiencing strange audio problems with my ThinkPad T400 until someone suggested loading the module `snd-hda-intel' with the parameter `model=ideapad' (!). Maybe you have the same - wrong hardware model auto-detection?
