[SOLVED] Pulseaudio: HOWTO - Remove completely and re-installing again

I have oss4 installed and I think I have problems with pulseaudio. When trying to start pulseaudio:

$pulseaudio --start
W: [pulseaudio] authkey.c: Failed to open cookie file '/home/toni/.config/pulse/cookie': No such file or directory
W: [pulseaudio] authkey.c: Failed to load authorization key '/home/toni/.config/pulse/cookie': No such file or directory
W: [pulseaudio] authkey.c: Failed to open cookie file '/home/toni/.pulse-cookie': No such file or directory
W: [pulseaudio] authkey.c: Failed to load authorization key '/home/toni/.pulse-cookie': No such file or directory
E: [pulseaudio] main.c: Daemon startup failed.

I think I have pulseaudio in an inconsistent state so I would like to remove completely from my system and to install it again from the scratch without affecting oss4 currently installed. How to achieve this?

Thanks in advance!

It seems like I have solved previous problem by removing pulse folder and re-generating again, now after executing pulseaudio --start below output is shown:

$pulseaudio --start
E: [pulseaudio] main.c: Daemon startup failed.

Finally, I have not uninstalled pulseaudio and backing up /etc/pulse/default.pa to default.pa.bak and then:

#mv /etc/pulse/default.pa.pacnew /etc/pulse/default.pa

solve the problem.
