I tried to get bumblebee working on my ASUS X5MS laptop with a NVIDIA GT540M graphics card, but it never worked. I switched from Linux Mint to Arch some time ago (3 to 6 months), and with Mint it worked after an update (which is kind of strange, because Arch is usually more up-to-date). I did google alot but didn't find the exact problem I have.
I've installed
nouveau-dri
xf86-video-nouveau
lib32-nouveau-dri
bumblebee
bbswitch
