KDE Panel Crash

Can someone running KDE please confirm the following:

1.  Right-click on the panel
2.  Add to panel -> Applet -> System Monitor

An error message pops-up, but disappears too fast to read it, the panel reloads and the KDE Crash Handler pops-up.

If that gives you a crash also, and you do the above one more time, the panel doesn't reload...

It doesn't crash here, on 3.4.3.

Humm I guess I should have mentioned I am running as root...

Did you try as root or as a normal user?
