system hanging at boot

hi,

While trying to reinstall an arch, the system hangs at boot on message "Triggering uevents".

I didn't update my kernel for quite a long time because when I tried to update above 3.4.9, i was getting this issue... today, i really need to upgrade this system...

Ideas ?

Thanks

PS : Already try to disable ACPI at boot, and that didn't work.

Re: system hanging at boot

Have you merged any .pacnew files that may be hanging on /etc ou /usr?

There's a page about systemd debug boot parameters and handling that can be useful in some situations. Here it is: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/How_to_d … d_problems
