It seems that every fullscreen application crashes X

This problem started when I switched from XFCE to Openbox.
Everytime I run a program, like Urban Terror or Xonotic, X crashes. Honestly, I have absolutely no idea what the cause is. Could have it something to do with the compositing manager? I changed from xcompmgr to xcompmgr-dana, maybe? It's the only thing I could think of that was a significant change to the system aside from the XFCE4/Openbox switch. But even if I run an XFCE session, those things can't run without crashing. Here's the error output from the terminal, but it doesn't seem very helpful:

I do have OpenGL and SDL installed, so that's not the problem, and my drivers are updated so that's not a problem either. I'm running 64-bit Arch and have no clue what's wrong.
Sorry I'm not incredibly helpful with solving the problem, but I've honestly no clue what's going on. Of course any help is appreciated, thank you very much!

Re: It seems that every fullscreen application crashes X

If you don't run compositing (xcompmgr etc..) does it still crash?

Re: It seems that every fullscreen application crashes X

Are you starting the programme in a second X session? Is that why you are posting the whole log for X and it is using ":1"? Or are you starting it in your standard X session and that brings X down? (But normally this would not use :1, I think?)

I've tried running it in a second X session, and yes that error is from when the second X session crashed. Even if I don't run it a second one, it crashes the one I'm running and  I have to restart X to get back to Openbox.

Even non SDL games crash. Tried running Xonotic with OpenGL and it also crashed. As for the drivers, my laptop has some Nvidia card, so when I first installed Arch, to get X to work, I just installed the xorg-drivers package and rebooted to let it load the driver itself.

This is probably a bad idea, especially if you have a Nvidia card. Which driver is it *using*?

Maybe it is not true now but it certainly used to be the case that getting nouveau to work required blacklisting nv, for example, if both were installed.

Did you follow the Beginners' Guide for setting up X? That would have taken you through the steps required to identify and install the drivers you actually need and want rather than all of them.

Do you have conf files for X? If so, what are the contents?

Do non-games run normally in X?

*Which* Nvidia card does your laptop have? Do you expect us to guess? Track you down and wrestle the laptop from you so we can figure this stuff out ourselves?

I am not saying this to be mean but trying to help you to help yourself. You must remember that people only have the information *you* provide. So the quality of the help you receive in diagnosing and addressing your problem depends on the quality of the information *you* provide.
