AUR downgrade?

How can I possibly downgrade the argyllcms to 1.4.0-5 ?

I'd prefer not to clone whole AUR git repository. I cannot believe this is such a hard thing to do.

Use the web interface, find the right commit, download the three files and run makepkg.

one easy way is to ask the package maintainer to send the old tarball. There is a possibility that you might get it.
