qt-creator auto completion not working!

I have recently install qt-creator as an IDE for my arch set up. But I am having some trouble figuring out why the intellisense or auto complete type feature is not working. It automatically works in ubuntu and mint, so i'm thinking i'm missing a dependency. It could also be some setting, but i have no such luck finding it. Any ideas on how to get this working?
