[solved] Can't get TLP to work

I set up TLP, I enabled and run the service, but it has no effect at all, even though checking service status tells me it is running fine.

EDIT:
Turns out I didn't have pm-utils, which for some strange reason is not a dependency of this package.

Re: [solved] Can't get TLP to work

pm-utils is listed as dep:

depends=('hdparm' 'bash' 'pm-utils' 'wireless_tools' 'rfkill' 'ethtool' 'upower')

taken from https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/tl/tlp/PKGBUILD

do you have an old version of tlp or a pkgbuild from a different source?
