Hi guys,
My built-in soundcard on my motherboard is a bit dodgy - the Front L/R output connector has a bad connection and doesn't work. In windows, I just plug my cable into the Surround L/ r jack instead of the Fron L/R jack, then a dialog pops up asking me what I plugged in, I say stereo speakers, and all sound works fine. Is there any alsa or even pulseaudio magic I can do so that stereo sound is output from the Surround L/R jack instead of the Front L/R jack?
I am using the HDA intel thing (that also shows up as realtek, not sure who actually makes it) built-in to my motherboard.
