infinite suspend/wake-up cycle on X220

Hello,

after a recent update, my Thinkpad X220 can no longer wake up from suspend. It goes to sleep by using the Fn+F4 key as always and wakes up when opening the lid. But before the screen is activated (and I suppose before anything relevant can be run), the LEDs on the laptop flash it goes back into sleep. It wakes up immediately afterwards and goes back into sleep. Only the 4-seconds-powerbutton shuts it off. Hibernating to disk and resuming from there still works.

I was _not_ the last update, as I hoped this is simply a kernel issue that will be fixed soon. Meanwhile 3.9.4 got updated to 3.9.6 and it's still the same.

Any hints what to look at?

Thank you
Olaf
