Hi,
I have here a Fujitsu Lifebook E753. I installed both Ubuntu and Arch on it. There are two regressions with Arch that are kind of annoying:
- On Ubuntu the backlight on bootup is set pretty "normal" whereas with Arch it is extremely dark.
- On Ubuntu the WLAN hardware button works and with Arch it does not.
I simply compiled Linux 3.2 for Arch and behold: Both backlight was bright and WLAN could be toggled with the hardware key.
Searching the internet I did not find any information that would help me. Is this a kernel issue/regression or is it intended?
Any help would be highly appreciated.
BTW: The WLAN chip is a Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6235.
