For about a month I have not been able to load youtube videos successfully (most of the time). I have tried cleaning .mozilla, .adobe and .macromedia, tried Firefox and Chromium and Minitube. Nothing seems to work. Any other video site works fine. Also it works fine on Windows.
Maybe my ISP uses a buffer server that does not somehow work well with Linux. But I don't know how to check that or ban. Any idea is well appreciated.
Here is my resolv.conf:
# Generated by NetworkManager
nameserver 4.2.2.1
nameserver 4.2.2.2
nameserver 4.2.2.3
# NOTE: the libc resolver may not support more than 3 nameservers.
# The nameservers listed below may not be recognized.
nameserver 4.2.2.4
flashplugin version: 11.2.202.291-1
minitube version: 2.0-1
firefox version: 21.0-1
chromium version: 28.0.1500.52-1
Edit: I have also tried HTML5 trial, that didn't help either.
Edit2: I have tried using VPN and now it seems to work reliably. Given that any ideas why that is so?
