Archlinux dual boot with windows 7 (UEFI)

Hello, i've just installed windows 7 (with UEFI) now i want to install archlinux i have a free partition with 400GB.

- Should i have create another EFI partition?
- What should i do in order to install grub?
- (I followed the wiki but each time i fail)

You're going to need to provide more info about what you've tried and how you failed.

Maybe install a UEFI-capable hypervisor and install Arch to a VM, to become familiar with the process in a 'safe' environment. That's what I did, and to be honest, it gave me a few headaches...

No, you can reuse the EFI partition. Just mount it at /boot or /boot/efi .

- What should i do in order to install grub?
- (I followed the wiki but each time i fail)

This does not give us any info. Post the exact commands you used to install grub.

Looks fine so far.

Is there a question there? You haven't explained what you have tried or how it has failed.

You say that you tried to install grub but failed each time. You do need to install Arch (or another Linux distro) first as far as I know. That is, you cannot begin by installing the boot manager - you need to install the system first.

If you don't need support for legacy OSes, you don't need to install Grub.

Even without a bootloader, you can boot Linux from the EFI shell - look at the archlinux.nsh example - which is what I did the first time I booted my Arch. For convevience, I installed later Gummiboot which is drop dead simple to setup.
