[SOLVED] Wrong package version - openimageio

hi,

I need the openimageio package to use blender and i don't know how to install the latest one

the package link is showing the correct 1.2 version

https://www.archlinux.org/packages/comm … enimageio/

but if i run pacman -S, i get 1.1 version and then blender complains it needs the latest one.

$ sudo pacman -S openimageio
warning: openimageio-1.1.10-2 is up to date -- reinstalling

How is this even possible and can anyone help me solve this. Thanks

Re: [SOLVED] Wrong package version - openimageio

Update your system first with 'pacman -Syu'.

The package has just been updated, so it may not yet be available on the mirror you're using. Please wait a couple hours.

Okay, Thank you and  sorry for the silly post,
