Hello, I hope I've posted it in the right place.
Recently, I've decided to install xboxdrv, because the built-in driver (xpad, I believe), had wrong axis mapping. Ofc, I've used AUR.
"xboxdrv --detach-kernel-driver" works fine, my gamepad is recognized well (Logitech F710 in XInput mode), and button mappings are correct.
Moreover, KDE System Settings detects my gamepad as well. (as Xbox Gamepad (userspace driver)).
The problem is, I can't get my pad to work in any game. I've tried Bastion, Awesomenauts, Half-Life 2, Portal 2 (via wine) and a few more. None of them seems to respond to my gamepad.
It would be nice if you could help me.
I hope everthing is understandable, my english sucks a bit.
Thanks in advance
EDIT: My kernel version - 3.9.9-1, xboxdrv version - 0.8.5

does it work with linux native games like openarena or xonotic ?
Booting with apg Openrc, NOT systemd.
Automounting : not needed, i prefer pmount
Aur helpers : makepkg + my own local repo === rarely need them
What DE/WM are you running ? Have you turned on your controller and ran xboxdrv before launching any game ?

I never met a piece of chocolate I didn't like.
Sorry for not answering, I was away for a while.
Lone_Wolf: Well, every game I've written above (except Portal 2) is native for linux. Interestingly, xboxdrv started to work in Bastion, but mappings are wrong (it's the only game, where kernel driver worked perfect for me, including axis). I'm gonna test xonotic later and report the results here
psycho: I'm running kwin under KDE. Yes, I always ran xboxdrv before launching a game.
EDIT: "xboxdrv --type xbox360 --mimic-xpad" worked like a charm for me. Axis are fine in every game I mentioned before.
