[SOLVED] Increase volume in a linear instead of logarithmic way

I am using i3. I have some keybindings which are executing "amixer set Master
5%+". Unfortunately, if I am regarding alsamixer meanwhile, the volume is
increasing logarithmically. Hence I have a higher resolution on the lower volume
area than on the higher.

Is there a way to increase it linearly?

Regards
Manuel

You can use "amixer set Master 5%+ -M":

-M Use the mapped volume for evaluating the percentage rep‐
resentation like alsamixer, to be more natural for human
              ear.

- edit: Yeah, that's exactly what has been posted in the thread linked above.
